Experienced Craftsmanship Since 1912
J.W. Whitcomb established Frontier Printing Company in 1912. In those days, news and entertainment was communicated through print. Harry Haines, a former advertising manager for The Observer, bought Frontier Printing in 1947 and the business became what we know today as Haines Frontier Printing.
In 1949, William Chong Sr. and three others bought Haines Frontier Printing. William also had experience with print from working at The Observer with Harry Haines. Upon William Chong Sr.’s retirement in 1983, his son Bill Chong Jr. replaced him and later became full owner. With strong community roots, the family business has seen its third generational transition in 2017 as Melissa Chong took over.
